foodlib.de is the website for the FoodLib app.

The website uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, which pages are visited and where the website can be improved.

Vercel Web Analytics does not set analytics cookies.

The website uses no advertising networks and no marketing tracking.

Google Search Console may be used to understand which search queries lead people to foodlib.de.

When the website is accessed, technically necessary server data may be processed so the website can be delivered.

If newsletters, contact forms, a chatbot or additional analytics tools are added later, this privacy notice will be updated.

Personal data is generally stored locally on the Apple device.

Synchronization through iCloud/CloudKit is optional.

The camera is used only for barcode scanning.

Product data can be loaded from publicly available sources such as Open Food Facts.

When scanning, the barcode is used to find product data.

Personal profiles, rules and notes are not sent to Open Food Facts.

FoodLib shows no advertising.

FoodLib does not use tracking in the app.

FoodLib does not pass on personal data.

Voluntary support is possible through Apple In-App Purchases.

Payment processing is handled by Apple.

FoodLib does not replace medical, pharmaceutical or nutritional advice.

Information on the original packaging is always decisive.

If users send feedback, ideas, FoodLib stories or voluntary support information in the app, this data may be transferred to a FoodLib database.

Entries are stored by type: feedback, idea, story or support.

The transfer is used only to read feedback, improve errors, collect ideas and keep track of voluntary support.

Email is used only as a fallback if direct transfer is not available.

Feedback is not sold for advertising purposes or passed on to third parties.
