foodlib.de is the website for the FoodLib app.
The website currently uses no advertising networks, no third-party tracking and no analytics cookies.
When the website is accessed, technically necessary server data may be processed so the website can be delivered.
If analytics, newsletters, contact forms or a chatbot are added later, this privacy notice will be updated.
B. Privacy for the FoodLib app
Personal data is generally stored locally on the Apple device.
Synchronization through iCloud/CloudKit is optional.
The camera is used only for barcode scanning.
Product data can be loaded from publicly available sources such as Open Food Facts.
When scanning, the barcode is used to find product data.
Personal profiles, rules and notes are not sent to Open Food Facts.
FoodLib shows no advertising.
FoodLib does not use tracking in the app.
FoodLib does not pass on personal data.
Voluntary support is possible through Apple In-App Purchases.
Payment processing is handled by Apple.
FoodLib does not replace medical, pharmaceutical or nutritional advice.
Information on the original packaging is always decisive.
